Rules
The Czech Golf Club rules (about)
The Rules of the Czech Golf Club (hereinafter referred to as "CGK") define obligations of association members (=club members) and specify sanctions for their violation. The rules of CGK are binding for all members of the club and every member is obliged to get acquainted with them.
CGK is a golf club which provides its members possibility to play golf using a prepaid membership package on multiple golf courses where CGK has contracted playing capacity.
Membership in the Association
Membership in CGK is full (=lifetime) and the membership fee is payable each year. It can be terminated upon written request by the member by e-mail or by expulsion, see the rules and code of rules of the club.
Every CGK member automatically becomes a member of the Czech Golf Federation and after processing the membership fee and activating the membership, the member will receive by e-mail a membership number with the club designation 098 xxxxx. CGK will pay a contribution to the Czech Golf Federation for each member.
Every member of CGK automatically becomesa member of the Czech Golf Federation.
CGK member can have membership in more than one club, one of the clubs will become main (home membership) and the others secondary (non-home membership).
In the event that CGK member is also a member of another golf club operating on one of the CGK partner courses, it may be that he/she cannot enjoy CGK benefits at this course (this is determined by the golf course).
Membership Fees
The amount of the membership fee depends on the type of membership package the player chooses for the season. The fee can be paid in several ways, see "Types of membership and membership fees". During the year, it is possible to extend the membership package by purchasing an additional package, see "Change of membership type". CGK reserves 3 working days to process the received payment.

A club member may use CGK benefits for a particular calendar year from 1st January to 31st December. Unused games from one calendar year cannot be carried over to the next year.
Each member is required to pay the membership fee for the upcoming season no later than the end of January of that season, failure to do so may result in blocking or automatic termination of membership. Prior to blocking or termination, the member will receive a request to pay the membership fee by email, there will be an anouncement on the club website and on social media.
By paying the membership fee for the relevant calendar year, the member acknowledges the binding nature of the current version of the CGK Rules.
Booking and Cancelling a Game from the "Player Credit" Membership Package
The procedure for booking a game and the rules for cancellation are described in detail in the section "Booking procedure and booking systems" on CGK website. These procedures are key to the successful creation or cancellation of a booking and every member is required to familiarise themselves with these procedures. Playing time reservations are made by each player via Teetime or Tycko systems (depending which reservation system the golf couse uses) from players account.
Each CGK member who purchased a membership package can enjoy 1 free game per day. One game = 18 holes and on selected courses 2 x 9 holes (please note, not on all courses).
Depending on the golf course, reservations can be made from 10pm on the 8th, 11th or 15th day before the day of the game. Changes are possible.
Changes to the start time can be made using Teetime / Tycko booking system or in cooperation with the golf course reception.
Please consider booking games and subsequent cancellations carefully. In the event that CGK member is unable to play the booked game, he/she is obliged to cancel the relevant booking to allow other members of the association to use the CGK playing capacity, see cancellation policy. Cancellations are made in the Teetime / Tycko reservation systems.
For courses where the player makes the reservation first by phone and then via the reservation system, it is necessary to cancel the game simultaneously in the reservation system and by phone at the reception of the course (Haugschlag, Hodkovičky).
Rules for bookings cancelled less than 3 days before the date of the game:
- A booking cancelled less than 3 days before the planned date is considered a "late cancellation", this booking is waiting in the system for a "replacement". In the event that the spot is filled by a "substitute", there is no penalty and the system will return the game to the member's game package.
- In the event that the cancelled slot is no longer occupied, the reservation is treated as a game played "from player credit" and is deducted from the member's game package.
Reservations cancelled more than 3 calendar days before the day of the game will not be penalized in any way.
In the event that a player does not arrive at the golf course reception and does not register, his/her reserved start time will be cancelled and the missed game will be treated as a game played and deducted from the membership package.
Entry of a Foreign Tournament Result
In the event CGK member requests entry of a foreign tournament result (tournament abroad), he/she is obliged to pay a registration fee of 200 CZK to the club account number 10810808/5500, mentioning his/her name and surname in the note. The member must provide all documents requested by CGK (scorecard, tournament information, link to the results list).
